The Country Manual has been reviewed to ensure that the content of all documents remains accurate and up to date. We can confirm that there have been no major material changes or modifications of the relevant Egyptian cross-border legislation since the last publication of this Country Manual. Further to clarifications obtained from local counsel, please note however that mortgage credits for residential immovable property located both in Egypt and in the credit institution\u2019s country are not considered as consumer credit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Non-material changes<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There have been certain, non-material changes to the wording in the RT to improve clarity and comprehensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
